Privacy policy.
Second Nature Partners is a small studio. We collect only what we need to do our work, we don't sell anything to anyone, and we explain in plain language what happens to the information you share with us.
Who we are
"We," "us," and "our" refer to Arya LLC, doing business as Second Nature Partners, a Florida-based studio with operations at 25°46′N · 80°11′W (Miami, FL). You can reach us anytime at hi@secondnature.partners.
What we collect
We collect information you actively give us — primarily through the Friction Audit and direct correspondence:
- Contact details — your email address when you start or complete the Friction Audit, or when you email us directly.
- Audit responses — your selections for revenue stage, team size, and the eight friction questions, plus the calculated cost figures generated from those answers.
- Technical basics — when you visit the site, our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically records standard request metadata such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages you viewed. We do not place advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
We do not collect payment information. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
How we use it
- To send you the results of any audit or assessment you've completed.
- To follow up about a discovery call or engagement you've initiated with us.
- To improve the audit, the website, and the services we offer — at an aggregate, anonymized level.
- To meet legal obligations when we have to.
We will not email you marketing campaigns, newsletters, or third-party offers unless you've explicitly opted in. If we ever start a newsletter, opting in will be a separate, clearly-labeled action — not a side effect of running the audit.
How we store and share it
Audit submissions are stored on Netlify's form infrastructure. Direct emails live in our business inbox. Both are protected by industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only with the small set of vendors that help us run the studio — for example, Netlify (hosting), Google Workspace (email), and similar — and only to the extent needed to provide the service.
How long we keep it
Audit submissions and email correspondence are retained for as long as the relationship is active, plus a reasonable archive period (typically 24 months) so we can answer questions and demonstrate our work. You can ask us to delete your record at any time — see below.
Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to:
- See a copy of what we have on file for you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete your record entirely.
- Stop using your information for any specific purpose.
Email hi@secondnature.partners with the request and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're in the EU/UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Cookies and analytics
We use a single, first-party session cookie to remember where you left off in the audit. We do not use third-party advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies. If we ever add lightweight analytics, we'll use a privacy-respecting product (for example Plausible or Fathom) and update this page accordingly.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will also be announced to anyone we currently correspond with by email.
